In-Person Initial Check Triage Submission
This form should be used to record a completed Initial Check Triage (TRG-001) that has been carried out in-person and does not require a Full Triage Assessment or Advice (TRG-003-006). We use this form to record client interactions that do not need to be recorded on Casebook but which allow us to monitor client interactions for reporting purposes.
A query does not need to progress to a Full Triage Assessment or beyond if:
• the client is not in a dispute;
• it isn’t an emergency situation;
• there are no time limits;
• it’s a general enquiry and there;
(i) is no specific issue identified;
(ii) there is no evidence of any complexities;
(iii) it’s not necessary to explore beyond client capability;
(iv) the client is clear about what they want;
(v) the issue can be explained in one or two sentences.
DO NOT use this form for Initial Check Triage (Adviceline) (TRG-002) as initial checks on Adviceline must be recorded on Casebook.
